Earn Your OSHA Cards!
By selecting the NSEC as your preferred Safety and Health Training Provider, you can earn certificates of completion and the nationally accepted 10-hour and 30-hour cards as issued by the US Department of Labor, OSHA Training Institute.
Please note: as of April 1, 2009, OTI Education Centers are not to accept a 30-hour outreach course as an equivalent to the OSHA #510 or #511 course. A replacement 30-hour outreach card must not be issued to any student who took the OSHA #510 or #511 prior to April 1, 2009.
Hazard Awareness Courses
- OSHA 10-hour for construction and / or general industry. The 10-hour card is intended to provide entry-level workers general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards. OSHA recommends this training as an orientation to occupational safety and health. Workers must receive additional training on hazards specific to their job.
- OSHA 30-hour for construction and / or general industry. The 30-hour card is intended to provide a variety of training to workers with some safety responsibility. Workers must receive additional training on hazards specific to their job.
NOTE: Please consult this list to verify your instructor has valid authorization to conduct courses.
Please note: there will be a $25 processing charge to replace each trainer, 10-, 16-, or 30- hour card or course certificate. There is a $30 processing charge to replace both if done at the same time. This fee will need to be paid before the request will be processed.
Trainer Courses
- OSHA 500 - Trainer Course in Occupational Safety & Health for Construction (authorizes individuals who successfully complete the course to issue OSHA 10- and 30-hour cards). Note: OSHA now requires that any individual taking this course have at least five years of safety and health experience and to have successfully completed the OSHA 510 course. - OSHA 501 - Trainer Course in Occupational Safety & Health for General Industry (authorizes individuals who successfully complete the course to issue OSHA 10- and 30-hour cards). Note: OSHA now requires that any individual taking this course have at least five years of safety and health experience and to have successfully completed the OSHA 511 course.
