NIU College of Law recognizes that in order for students to persevere through rigorous academic program, they must balance their personal lives, taking care of themselves and their families. As a large and diverse campus, NIU offers more to its students than just an academic education. A variety of activities are available for students to enjoy including free music and fine arts performances, art exhibits, lectures, recreational opportunities, museums and galleries.
A complete range of services is also available to NIU students including comprehensive health care, counseling, childcare and career planning. A bus system operates throughout the campus and the community, allowing students to live or shop in the community while maintaining easy access to the campus.
The greater NIU community provides the cultural and recreational opportunities as well as the support services that all of our students need in order to focus on their academics.

This report also contains institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning sexual assault, and other matters. You may access it through the Web at www.facdev.niu.edu/legalservices/clery/index.shtml. It is also available to all applicants upon request by calling the Department of Public Safety at 815-753-1212.
