The National Safety Education Center offers authorized OSHA occupational training courses in:
- General Industry
- Construction
- Safety & Health
These courses offer U.S. Department of Labor certificates of completion and continuing education units (CEUs) or professional development hours (PDHs) from Northern Illinois University. Trainer courses offer wallet cards upon successful completion, which includes passing a written examination.
Depending on the topics to be covered, full courses are three days or four, four and a half, or five days in length. Short courses may be one half day, one full day, or two days long.
